Is it any good? If you loved A Nightmare Before Christmas then you will love this film. Off-beat, weird, original, intense, stunning, jaw-dropping, enthralling and ingenious, this film is a beautiful piece of work that will hold your attention and capture your heart and the 3D presentation is perfectly used here. However, the 3D aspect of this film does make certain bizarre ingredients might make this a nightmarish experience for the very young. The voice cast is perfect and, a major plus, you actually forget what the real people look like and really believe that the voices you hear are the ones that belong to the characters. An enchanting and almost hypnotic soundtrack brings an uneasy but delicious ingredient to this film and really deserves to be nominated for an Oscar next year. This fantastic film is highly recommended for older children, and adults who want to indulge their inner big kid. Exciting and entertaining stuff.
